Responsibilities include but not limited to:
a. Manage and supervise staff for handling export import process
b. Handling export import documentation, manage inventory control, manage delivery of goods, dealing with custom clearance, manage distribution methods either through air, sea, or land, ensuring on time delivery goods, and managing logistic cost of delivery including insurance, banks, etc.
c. Monitoring delivery/pick up delivery import goods
d. Monitoring customs clearance activities
e. Coordinate with shipping lines and trucking vendors
f. Having knowledge about government regulation of import
g. Under the guidance and direction of senior management team prepare budgets, action plan, KPIs, to ensure own department works efficiently and effectively
h. Provide leadership and direction for the forecasting & import purchasing department team. Train, coach, develop, inspire, and motivate team to perform optimally in an efficient and effective manner.
i. Check and ensure product demand forecasts and analysis are properly calculated and accurate and consulted with sales team before further confirming to overseas vendors/manufacturers
j. Maintain good relation with vendors, forwarders, custom officers, inspectors, sales team, procurement team, warehouse, finance team, and other related parties to get things done effectively
k. And any other ad hoc tasks as instructed by superior
a. Candidate must possess at least bachelor degree in engineering, accounting, statistics or business administration/management, overseas graduate or MBA a plus
b. -At least 10 years of working experience (for GM position) with minimum 5 years managerial experience handling EXIM administration and operations
c. Good interpersonal relation and analytical skills, able to work under pressures with tight deadlines. Comfortable with numbers and a good eye for details
d. Familiar with Indonesian customs and exercise laws and regulations
e. Familiar with major ERP application systems such as SAP. Familiar with statistics, planning or forecasting techniques an additional plus
f. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
g. Expert in using Microsoft Office.
h. Must be willing to work in Cibitung and also live in Cibitung or near Cibitung area
