The Commissioner of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM), Choirul Anam, has asked the government to facilitate the transportation of workers who are still working in the middle of the corona virus pandemic (Covid-19). According to him, labor safety must also be considered by the government. He states that workers should be facilitated with modes of transportation and that companies and workers still operating in during the COVID-19 pandemic should be given incentives.

The Jakarta Metropolitan Police Directorate of Traffic added 125 large-scale social restriction check points. Initially, there were only 33 points but now there are 158 points. The addition was made because the PSBB is no longer applied only in Jakarta, but also in Bogor, Depok and Bekasi starting today, Wednesday (15/4), whereas the Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City and South Tangerang City will start on Saturday (18/4).

The Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency has discovered that many companies were still operating during the period of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in the capital because they have earned the permission from the Ministry of Industry. The Head of the Agency, Andri Yansyah, mentioned that over 200 companies excluded from the list of sectors that are allowed to operate during the PSBB has obtained an operational permit from the Central Government. He added that since the companies hold the permits, they must oblige to the designated health protocols, however, Andri also stated that the AGency will coordinate with the Minsitry of Industry to evaluate the operational permit.

The Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security, Mahfud MD, has stated that Presidential Decree Number 12 of 2020 concerning the Establishment of a Non-natural Emergency can not be used as a basis of a breach of contract. He also stated that the Presidential Decree can be made as a basis for the renegotiation of a contract.

Bank Indonesia (BI) has decided to reduce the maximum interest on credit cards to 2 percent per month from the previous 2.25 percent. This was all to boost the economy amid the corona virus pandemic. In addition to credit card interest, BI also reduced the minimum payment from 10 percent to only 5 percent of total credit cardholders' bills. Additionaly, for late payment penalties, BI reduced the previous 3 percent or a maximum of Rp150 thousand to only 1 percent or a maximum of Rp100 thousand. BI Governor, Perry Warjiyo, said that this policy will be effective from May 1, 2020, until December 31, 2020.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has determined the Corona Virus non-natural disaster (COVID-19) as a national disaster. The government stated that all data from the village/kelurahan level to the central level is integrated into one information system, under one network. Determination of the national disaster status is contained in Presidential Decree No. 12 of 2020.

The Bogor, Depok and Bekasi (Bodebek) area will impose large-scale social restrictions (PSBB). PSBB rules in Bogor Regency will not be much different from DKI Jakarta. The Bogor Regent, Ade Yasin, explained that markets will be open from 04:00 WIB until 13:00 WIB, minimarkets from 08:00 WIB until 18:00 WIB, and supermarkets from 09:00 WIB until 18:00 WIB.

These cuts will be implemented to items he deem to be less important in the effort against COVID-19, such as official travel, meetings and other state spending. The focus of state spending will be on the handling of COVID-19, with 3 priorities: Health, Social Security and Economic Stimulus for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto decided that motorcycle taxis (Grab/Gojek) could only transport goods during the implementation of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB). On the other hand, The Acting Minister of Transportation, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, decided that motorcycle taxis and private vehicles could carry passengers. Legislative expert, Dr. Bayu Dwi Anggono said, the debate on this matter has to be quickly resolved and immediately make sure the legal certainty. The Bogor City Government has asked PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) to temporarily suspend the operation of the Bogor Railroad Electric Train (KRL) for 14 days of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB). PSBB in Bogor City takes effect on Wednesday (15/4). Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A Rachim, has said that the most extreme thing is to close the services first. Dedie said that the Bogor City Government together with four other regional governments hoped that the 14-day termination of the KRL could be terminated. According to him, KCI does not mind, so the PSBB can run optimally in suppressing the spread of the corona virus.

The Banten administration is ready to adopt Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in three areas, namely, Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City and South Tangerang City. Banten Regional Secretary, Al Muktabar, stated the three areas mentioned are in principle, a part of the Greater Jakarta and West Java areas which are currently undergoing PSBB. Al Muktabar stated that the administration has not decided on when to implement the PSBB, although the regulations implemented will be similar to the PSBB as implemented in Jakarta and West Java. The Greater Tangerang Area is currently classified as a COVID-19 red zone in Banten.

Minister of Health, Terawan Agus Putranto, has established the application of Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in the City of Pekanbaru, Riau, in dealing with the spread of the corona virus (Covid-19). This decision was based on Minister of Health Decree Number HK.01.07 / Menkes / 250/2020, which was signed by Terawan on April 12. In the letter, Terawan established PSBB in Pekanbaru City for handling the acceleration of corona virus. West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said the implementation of the PSBB would be put into effect in Bodetabek (Bogor, Depok, Bekasi area) on Wednesday 15 April 2020, with the division of two types of PSBB implementation at the district level, which is divided into red zones and non red zones. The Bekasi Regency administration mentioned, out of 23 sub-districts, there will be 6 that is categorized as a red zone. The spokesman for the task force for the acceleration of handling COVID-19 in the Bekasi Regency, Alamsyah, said that the PSBB in the 6 districts will be carried out optimally in accordance with the direction of the governor of West Java. The six districts are South Cikarang Subdistrict, Central Cikarang, and South Tambun.

The Directorate of Traffic of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police has begun to record motorists who violated the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) to overcome the corona virus in DKI Jakarta today, Monday (13/4). Violators will be given a blank warning. In addition to the reprimand, PSBB violators in Jakarta will also be asked to make a statement containing a promise not to repeat similar violations. The West Java adminstration has decided to divide the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implemented in West Java into two categories. The PSBB will be implemented in Bogor City, Bogor Regency, Bekasi City, Bekasi Regency and Depok City, and will be implemented on Wednesday, April 15th, 2020. The Govoernor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, stated that the PSBB implemented in the two regencies will not be on the same level as the ones implemented in the cities. The City PSBB will be implemented on the same level as in DKI Jakarta, while the intensity of the PSBB in the regencies will be done in accordance to the severity of the COVID-19 outbreak amongst its districts.
