PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) will expedite the refund process for train tickets purchased through the KAI Access Application to three working days after the cancellation. The company's Vice President of Public Relations, Joni Martinus, explained that as of Wednesday, 29 April 2020, the total amount of cancelled tickets reached 877,618 tickets, with as many as 51 percent of the tickets purchased through the application.

The Karawang Regency administration has decided to implement Large-Scale Social Restrictions in 18 districts starting from Wednesday, May 6, 2020. The Karawang regional secretary, Acep Jamhuri, said that the PSBB implementation is an order from the West Java Governor, Ridwan Kamil. Karawang Regent, Cellica Nurrachadiana, stated that the PSBB must be implemented in Karawang as the area is located right next to the Bekasi Regency, which is a Covid-19 red zone.

The Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, has stated that the PSBB in the Bogor, Depor and Bekasi areas (Bodebek) will be extended for a further 14 days, effective from Wednesday, 29 April 2020, until 12 May 2020. He states that the decision to extend the policy is due to the fact that there is an increase of infection cases in Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency. Despite that, he also states that since the implementation of PSBB, the Greater Jakarta Area has seen a decrease of ifections by up to 38.5 percent. The Gove/rnor also stated that the extension of the PSBB in the Greater Bandung Area is still under evaluation and a decision will be made the floowing week. The Head of the West Java Department of Transportation confirms that as of today (29/04) the regulations regarding transportation has not changed.

The DKI Jakarta Department of Labor, Transmigration and Energy has  temporarily closed 101 companies in Jakarta. According to the Department's data, as of Tuesday, April 28, 2020, 16 companies in Central Jakarta, 26 in West Jakarta, 19 in North Jakarta, 33 in South Jakarta and 7 in East Jakarta has been closed. Other than the mentioned 101 companies, a firther 119 business holding the operational license from the Ministry of Industry has been given warnings to implement health protocols. Meanwhile, 440 of the companies in the designated 11 sectors allowed to operate has been given directions to implement health protocols.

The Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, has released the Minister of Industry Circular Letter Number 8 of 2020 concerning Mandatory Reports of Industrial Companies and Industrial Estates owning the Operational and Industrial Mobility License (IOMKI). All companies holding the IOMKI are obligated to report their activities and the implementation of health protocols in their industrial activities. Failure to report for 3 periods will result in the revocation of the IOMKI.

Head of the Indonesian Logistics Association, Zaldi Ilham Masita, has said that various logistic/cargo companies have been negatively impacted by the closing of passenger flights in light of the mudik ban. He said that as a result of this ban, cargo flights are decreased, with uncertain schedules. This in turn results in hundreds of tons of cargo being held in transit airports. He also claims that ever since passenger flights have been stopped, the performance of air logistics have dropped by 80 percent, meanwhile during the pandemic, the demand has increased drastically.

The Director General of Tax, Suryo Utomo, reminds all taxpayers to file their annual tax returns (SPT) if they want to enjoy this year's tax relief. He states that to enjoy the 22 percent tax relief, company SPT must be reported. Companies are allowed to file their SPT along with their financial report until the 30th of April to enjoy their tax relief. Other requirements will be allowed to be filed until the 31th of June.

Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) have officially been implemented in Greater Surabaya today Tuesday (28/4) for the next 14 days. Areas implementing PSBB include three regions in East Java, namely Surabaya City, Sidoarjo Regency and Gresik Regency. Since 00.00 WIB, 48 checkpoints have been prepared by joint personnel from the Indonesian National Police so officers can monitor road users who do not implement PSBB, such as the use of masks, to restrict their access to PSBB areas.

West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil ensures that Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in the City and Regency of Bogor, Depok City, and City and District of Bekasi (Bodebek) will be extended for 14 days starting Wednesday (29/4) or the day after tomorrow until May 12. According to him, ever since the PSBB has been implemented, there has been a downwards trend of COVID-19 infections in the Bogor City, Bogor Regency and Depok City areas. Inversely there has been an increase of COVID-19 infections in the Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency areas.

The Bekasi Deputy Mayor, Tri Ardhianto, has stated that there must be an evaluation of the companies still allowed to operate during the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). These industries still operating has received an operational permit from the Ministry of Industry. Tri has asked the Minister of Industry to reevaluate the operational permits, as the permit makes it difficult to process companies who violate PSBB policies.

The Minister has said that there has been a request from various businesses to be allowed to board airplanes, which he allows under the condition that COVID-19 health protocols are still followed. The Ministry of Industry has recorded investment in the field of manufacturing has reached Rp. 64 trillion in the 1st quarter. This is an increase of 44.7 percent compared to the same period last year, taking into consideration that the industry is under pressure of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ministry recorded that domestic investment (PMDN) made up Rp. 19.8 trillion while foreign investment (PMA) made up Rp. 44.2 trillion. The government continues to make sure the manufacturing industry plays a role in the national economy. The Directorate General of Tax will soon collect Value-Added Tax (PPN) for trade activities through electronic systems (PMSE). This is based on the Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2020 concerning State Financial Policies and Financial System Stability for the Handling of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The heads of Jakarta's satellite cities in West Java (Bogor, Depok and Bekasi, or Bodebek) has agreed to extend the period of implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) for the next 14 days from the end of phase one on April 28 future. Bogor Regent, Ade Yasin, stated that the regional heads agreed to extend the PSBB simultaneously to ease the process of monitoring and evaluation.

The Jakarta Police has stated that the movement of people from the Karawang region to the Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi) area will be restricted. The Jakarta Police Head of Public Relations, Yusri Yunus, opined that there are a number of Karawang residents who work in Jakarta's satellite cities, such as Bekasi, and who uses private vehicles. As a result, the restriction of movement will only be in effect as of May 7, 2020. Yusri stated that after May 7th, vehicles from Karawang trying to enter Jabodetabek will be asked to turn around.

The Directorate General of Tax (DGT) has adjusted the income tax installment eriod (PPh) for 2020 following the reduction of the Corporate Income Tax rates. Previously, the government had finalized the Corporate Income Tax tariff through Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 1 of 2020 concerning State Financial Policy and Financial System Stability for Handling the COVID-19 Pandemic. "Corporate taxpayers who meet the tax rate reduction provisions in accordance with Article 31E of the Income Tax Law or other provisions regarding the reduction of tax rates or current tax installments, are still entitled to take advantage of the reduction in the calculation of current tax installments," Yoga said as Director of Inauguration, Services, and DGT Public Relations.

The Semarang Administrationhas implemented Community Activity Restrictions (PKM) in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The application of PKM is applied based on the Mayoral Regulation No. 28 of 2020. The application of PKM will begin on Monday 27 April 2020. The mechanism of PKM status confirms several points related to restrictions on activities outside the home, including the cessation of activities at school, restrictions on activities at work, places of worship, public places, and restrictions on social and cultural activities, and the movement of people through modes of transportation. The Indonesian Truck Association (Aptrindo) of East Java has asked the East Java Provincial Government, Police and City Administrations to coordinate and inform them of closed routes and roads, so that the transport of goods will not be obstructed. The Secretary General of the East Java Aptrindo, Eddo Adrian Wijaya, stated that if there are road closures, the relevant administrations must inform Aptrindo. The Cilegon Police has established a checkpoint in Merak Port. This has been done to break the chain of COVID-19 infections and to assist in the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in the Grater Tangerang Area. The head of the Cilegon Police, Yudhis Wibisana, stated that the checkpoint has been established to monitor the movement of transportation. He added that stationed officers will conduct an inspection on the driver and the passengers' compliance to PSBB regulations.

Regions across Java have set up checkpoints to monitor the flow of vehicles between cities and provinces, following the government's mudik ban. The Transportation has prepared a number of checkpoints in areas surrounding Jakarta, including Tangerang, Bekasi, Bogor, Sukabumi and Cikampek, to prevent people from leaving or entering the capital. The checkpoint locations include on in the Bitung toll gate, one in the Karawang border, in Puncak Pass, in Cigombong (the border of Bogor Regency and Sukabumi), and one in the 31-kilometer point on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, among others.

The Transportation Ministry has asserted that international flights to and from Indonesia will continue to operate normally, despite a previous statement that all passenger flights to oversea destinations had been suspended. The Ministry of Air Transportation, Novie Riyanto, stated that flights going to other countries will operate normally, as long as those countries still accept international visitors. He also added that Indonesian nationals currently abroad are not restricted from entering the country.

PT. MRT Jakarta has closed a further two stations for the period of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Jakarta. Corporate Secretary Division Head of PT. MRT Jakarta, Muhamad Kamaluddin, stated that the closed stations are Bendungan Hilir and Senayan stations. As a result, a total of 7 stations will no longer be operational. Muhammad added that the trains will only stop at Lebak Bulus Grab, Fatmawati, Cipete Raya, Blok M BCA, Dukuh Atas BNI and Bundaran HI stations.
