Surabaya, CNN Indonesia - Enforcement of Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) for handling corona virus (Covid-19) in the Greater Surabaya region has officially been extended to the third phase, from May 26 to June 8, 2020. The decision was agreed upon after the Surabaya City Government, Sidoarjo Regency, and Gresik held an evaluation meeting with the Provincial Government of East Java, for the past two days. The decision to extend the third phase of the PSBB was also contained in the decision of the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa No. 188/258 / KPTS / 013/2020 concerning the Second Extension of PSBB Enforcement in the City of Surabaya, Sidoarjo Regency and Gresik Regency.

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan asserted that people who did not have documents in the form of Exit Permit (Surat Izin Keluar-Masuk - SIKM) were prohibited from entering the Jakarta area. This was done to reduce the spread of the corona virus (Covid-19) in the Capital City. "Those who do not have permission to enter and exit will not be allowed to pass. And these requirements must be met," Anies said when holding a press conference at the BNPB Building, Jakarta, Monday (5/25).

The check-in and out of Jakarta during the third phase of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) will be conducted at 12 points starting Friday (5/22). This provision is following DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation Number 47 Year 2020. These 12 points are on the streets in the DKI Jakarta administrative area boundaries, namely Jalan Raya Bekasi (under the Cakung flyover), Jalan Raya Kalimalang (U turn), Jalan Raya Bogor (Pasar Rebo Front Panasonic Manufacturing), Simpang UI Depok, Pasar Intersection Friday, Jalan Ciledug Raya (In front of the Budi Luhur Campus), Joglo Raya Post (Taman Alfa), Karang Tengah Police Station, Kalideres Police Station, Kamal Police Station.

The government has prepared requirements for business and people to implement during the "new normal" amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Minister of National Planning and Development, Suharso Monoarfa, has stated that these requirements must be prepared to ease the economic recovery after the relaxation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). Among others, these requirements include the implementation of health protocols, to prepare disinfectant and hand washing facilities, to prepare banners socializing health protocols and social distancing.
