Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - The Head of the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ), Polana B. Pramesti said the entry and exit permit (SIKM) for people who would go in and out of DKI Jakarta had been abolished. The abolition of SIKM was carried out since July 14, 2020. Head of DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, confirmed the elimination of SIKM for the community. He asked residents who wanted to go in and out of Jakarta to fill out the Corona Likelihood Metric (CLM) application.  "Since July 14 yesterday SIKM was abolished, but residents are encouraged to fill out CLM applications," said DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Head Syafrin Liputo when contacted separately.

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - The Indonesian government continues to adapt to the adaptation of new or new normal habits for foreign nationals (foreigners) who want to stay longer in Indonesia amid the corona virus pandemic (Covid-19). This was known after the Director General of Immigration issued several new conditions for holders of Limited Stay Permits (ITAS), Permanent Stay Permits (ITAP), and MERP who wanted to extend the validity period in the new normal phase. For holders of ITAS / ITAP / MERP who live abroad who have been given a letter by the relevant agency or council can extend their residence permit at the local immigration office from 13 July 2020 with a 60 day grace period. Furthermore, holders of residency permits 2B21, 2B11 and D212 have since been able to extend substantive licenses, unless the Covid-19 pandemic has been declared expired and there is transportation available to leave Indonesia. This also applies to ITAP letter holders. The extension date starts on July 13, 2020 with a deadline of 30 days from that date.
