The Caregiver Lecturer role offers an opportunity to support and develop individuals preparing for caregiving-related careers connected to Japan. This position combines practical caregiving knowledge with Japanese language instruction, helping students build the skills and confidence needed throughout their training journey.
Responsibilities
Deliver Kaigo (caregiving) training integrated with Japanese language instruction
Design structured lesson plans and conduct performance evaluations
Assess student readiness and provide feedback to support continuous improvement
Track and document student progress throughout the programme
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain effective learning outcomes
Requirements
Minimum Diploma (D3) in Nursing, Healthcare, or Japanese Language
Prior experience as a caregiver or nurse in Japan
At least 1 year of classroom teaching or student mentoring experience
JLPT N3 or above
Holds an SSW Kaigo certificate or Kaigofukushishi (Certified Care Worker) licence
Collaborative mindset with strong communication and organisational skills
