The Service Engineer role is based in South Jakarta and focuses on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Medium Voltage Drives (MV Drives) systems. This role is a great fit for an electrical engineering professional with hands-on experience in industrial and commercial power systems who can support customer sites, resolve technical issues, and ensure reliable system performance.
Responsibilities
Perform installation of UPS and MV Drives at customer sites
Conduct testing and commissioning to ensure systems operate according to specifications
Prepare commissioning reports and related documentation
Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability
Perform corrective maintenance in case of failures or technical issues
Troubleshoot technical problems related to UPS and MV Drives systems
Ensure optimal system performance and uptime
Provide technical support to customers and internal teams
Analyse technical issues and deliver effective solutions
Coordinate with global teams or principals when necessary
Prepare service reports, maintenance reports, and technical documentation
Support project activities such as system installation or upgrades
Ensure project execution meets timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, particularly with UPS and MV Drives
Experience working with reputable or leading brands in industrial and commercial UPS and MV Drives
Good command of English, both spoken and written
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel as required
