About the role
The Mechanical Design Engineering Leader / Supervisor role supports automation and special purpose machine projects through mechanical design, engineering development, and project execution. The position involves developing machine designs, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with cross-functional teams through installation and commissioning.
Responsibilities
Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials (BOM).
Perform engineering calculations and conduct design reviews.
Coordinate with Production, Electrical, and Project teams.
Support machine installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
Experience with Special Purpose Machines, automation systems, or the machine manufacturing industry.
Proficient in SolidWorks and GstarCAD or AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Experience preparing detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willing to travel when required.
