The Operations Director role is responsible for leading operations within a furniture manufacturing environment, aligning sales, marketing, and production activities to support the achievement of company targets. The position combines operational leadership, business planning, factory coordination, quality control, and performance management.
Responsibilities
Develop integrated sales and marketing strategies aligned with production capacity and establish business plans to achieve company targets
Supervise the daily activities of the sales team, seek business partners, and ensure sales and business targets are consistently met
Ensure smooth daily operations, manage budgets, implement quality control, and improve overall efficiency across factory and business activities
Monitor the sales and marketing team to support the achievement of company goals
Apply knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to support operational and sales decision-making
Ensure demand and supply are balanced between the sales team and the factory team
Ensure all business projects can be accommodated within the factory’s production processes and meet production targets
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design
Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, sales, and marketing, with a background in furniture manufacturing or the furniture industry
Strong understanding of production management systems and data analytics
Ability to work towards targets and perform effectively under pressure
Proficiency in design software
Energetic and polished professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
