The Production Section Head/Production Supervisor role oversees press, inspection, and coating processes within a manufacturing environment. The position plays a key part in coordinating production workflows, using operational data to improve performance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining quality and health, safety, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate press, inspection, and coating production processes
Manage production workflows and coordinate activities across production functions
Use production data to identify and drive operational improvements
Lead Kaizen, 5S, and internal development initiatives
Ensure production activities comply with quality and health, safety, and environmental standards
Report directly to the assistant factory manager
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or another relevant discipline
At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing production
Strong understanding of production processes and workflows
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS), and health, safety, and environmental requirements
Good knowledge of Kaizen and 5S principles
Digital literacy, an improvement-oriented approach, and awareness of current manufacturing trends
Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills
English communication skills would be an advantage
