The Site Engineer role involves overseeing on-site project execution, including co-ordination, documentation, and supervision of construction activities. The position works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with requirements.
Responsibilities
Monitor and prepare key project documentation:
Project schedule
Project budget
Shop drawings
Manage project progress by contributing to overall project performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to fulfil requirements and ensure satisfaction
Supervise and oversee construction work, including leading project teams to meet quality, budget, and timeline targets
Coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with established standards and requirements
Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure services meet project needs
Review and analyse project expenditure to support cost-effective delivery
Ensure health and safety standards are implemented and maintained across the project scope
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management systems
Hands-on experience in construction site work
Experience working on factory, manufacturing, or warehouse projects
Familiarity with working in a Japanese company environment
Solid understanding of project management principles and practices
