The Translator/Interpreter - Mandarin Speaker role supports effective communication between Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and Indonesian-speaking teams. The position provides accurate written translation and oral interpretation while ensuring smooth coordination within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Provide accurate oral interpretation between Mandarin and Indonesian during meetings, discussions and daily operations
Translate documents, reports, emails and other business materials
Facilitate effective communication between management, employees and external parties
Ensure the accuracy, consistency and confidentiality of translated information
Support cross-functional teams with communication-related activities
Assist with administrative tasks related to translation and interpretation when required
Maintain clear documentation of translated materials and communications
Requirements
Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin and Indonesian
Ability to perform both translation and interpretation tasks effectively
Detail-oriented and responsible, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Previous experience as a translator or interpreter would be highly regarded
Experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment would be an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
