We are looking for a Vessel Inspector on behalf of our client, a state-owned enterprise in marine logistics (oil & gas).
The role will be responsible to ensure smooth vetting operations while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) Class 1, either Master Mariner or Chief Engineer (Engine) from a reputable maritime institute.
Minimum 2 years' experience on tanker ships as Senior Officer (Master / Chief Officer / Chief Engineer / Second Engineer).
Strong English proficiency with TOEIC ≥ 605 (valid within 2 years).
Required Certificates
- Advanced Liquified Gas Tanker (ALGT) or Advanced Oil Tanker (AOT)
- BRM or ERM (Bridge Resource Management / Engine Room Resource Management).
Responsibilities:
Perform vetting inspections according to international and company standards.
Ensure vessel compliance with all safety, operational, and quality requirements.
Oversee the vessels’ navigational matters, including approval of passage plans and conduct of navigation audits.
Ensure compliance with terminal, operators, oil majors and charterers’ requirements.
