The Accounting, Tax & Finance Manager role oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and cash-flow management. The position leads the finance and accounting team, ensures regulatory compliance, strengthens internal controls, and provides financial analysis to support management decision-making.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records and journal entries
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
Analyse financial performance and provide insights to management
Taxation
Manage tax compliance activities, including the preparation and submission of tax returns
Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and payments
Coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors when required
Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the business
Financial Management
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections
Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
Provide financial analysis to support management decision-making
Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and internal controls
Team & Process Management
Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Support internal and external audit activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, and tax, including managerial or supervisory experience
Hands-on experience in financial statement preparation, financial reporting, general ledger management, journal entries, tax compliance, and tax reporting
Good understanding of accounting standards and taxation regulations
Brevet A & B or another relevant professional certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or enterprise resource planning systems
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
Experience handling external and tax audits
Experience managing a finance team
