There are 2 major divisions under the COO
a. Group Head of Warehouse & Transport
This division consists of Warehouse Operations, Transport Operations, Bak (pools of all goods that are included in large parties (fertilizer, soda, etc.) & Special Projects, and Terminals.
b. Group Head of Service Excellence
This division consists of Operations Development Control (ODC Transport, ODC Warehouse), QHSE, Inventory and QM.
5. Requirements :
a. Min5 years’ experience as a Director (or similar level) in Logistic Industries.
(or 10-15 years’ experience for GM level if the candidate was capable)
Senior position, up to 50 years still acceptable
this position must be capable of technology, even providing input / improvement for technology (such as TMS *, WMS **, etc. which are related to logistics).
* TMS: Transport Management System
** WMS: Warehouse Management System
This position will handle a team which incidentally contains a senior (manager). This position needs to be respect of the subordinates.
e. Integrity & firm
It is necessary to have principles and integrity, because in this position there are many opportunities for doing some "misuse" acts.
f. Direct, not being directed
When joining, you don't need to get directions from the MD, but you expected to provide input / input for the company
