The Head of IT role is based in Jakarta with a hybrid working arrangement and focuses on leading AI and digital transformation projects for Finance and Accounting. This role plays a key part in building scalable IT systems, driving AI adoption, and establishing a strong technology function as the business grows.
Responsibilities
Advise leadership on AI adoption, automation, and machine learning use cases that enhance business performance
Design and implement scalable systems with strong cybersecurity frameworks, including IAM, firewalls, and endpoint protection
Develop enterprise solutions and automated workflows aligned with modern FinTech standards
Set up data architecture to support analytics, business intelligence, and AI deployment
Manage relationships with ISPs, hardware vendors, and AI or software providers
Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing IT team as the business grows
Oversee infrastructure, helpdesk, and asset management independently
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong background in FinTech, InsurTech, or AI-driven environments
Expertise in cloud platforms
Experience with AI or machine learning frameworks and data systems
Solid understanding of cybersecurity standards, including ISO 27001 and NIST
Proven ability to build IT functions from scratch
Strong leadership, independence, and decision-making skills
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
