Our client is a Malaysian Manufacturing for Refractory Products, Flow Control Mechanism, and Precast Shape Products
- Reports to Head of Sales Indonesia
o The role will oversee both Technical and Sales of Advanced Refractory of steel business located in Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP).
- Key Result Areas:
o Trouble shooting and problem solving.
o Carry out product presentation.
o Propose new product and create new market share.
o Monitor and fulfil Monthly Sales Forecast and Yearly Sales Budget.
o Meeting customer requirement
o Monitoring product trial
o HSE: to adhere to Vesuvius standards either individually or group or when involving sub-contractors at customer installations site.
o Customer Complains: Handling customer complains arising out of Vesuvius products performance. Raise CCAR in Vesuvius system and actively participate to solve them.
o Competitor information and market dynamics/ changes to observe and record/ inform/ feedback.
o Preparing monthly report on 2nd of each month for his accounts and feedback to Sales Manager.
- Oversee all on site technical and sales activities of Advance Refractory use in smelters, Blast furnace cast house, Blast Oxygen Furnace, Iron Ladle, Steel Ladle and tundish.
- Develop sales volume, new product trial and market share of Advanced Refractory business.
- Ensure the clients’ needs are fulfilled by resolving any issues that arise through customer relationship management.
- Working closely with Head of Sales-Indonesia to execute market strategies and plan in both plant.
- Support pre-sales technical bidding activities by responding to RFI/RFQ/RFP, preparing and delivering technical presentation and demonstration.
- MUST willing to travel and stay in IMIP, Sulawesi.
- MUST Fluent in Chinese language. Advantage -can read and write in Chinese.
- Degree of Materials Engineering/Metallurgy.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in steel making and refractory. Advantage would be given to those has experience work in steel mill in China.
- Refractory Engineering and Steel Making knowledge. Preferable experience in Stainless Steel making and process.
- English and computer skills (Good skills on excel, word, power point).
