Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production and business goals
Source and negotiate with suppliers for steel rods, wire materials, machinery, spare parts, packaging, and factory consumables
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing schedules with production planning
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, pricing, and timely delivery
Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic vendor audits
Analyze market trends, steel pricing, and supply chain risks
Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and regulations
Lead cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or production timelines
Coordinate with production, warehouse, finance, and quality control teams
Prepare procurement reports, budgeting forecasts, and purchasing analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in steel, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
Strong knowledge of procurement systems and inventory management
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Experience handling local and international suppliers is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Leadership experience managing procurement teams preferred
Willing to work in Bogor
