We’re Hiring: Senior Platform Engineer (Kubernetes / AWS / DevEx)
Are you passionate about building platforms that engineers love to use?
We’re working with a fast-growing tech company that’s evolving from a monolith to a modern, service-oriented architecture, and they’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help lead that transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
This isn’t just about managing infrastructure. You’ll help build a self-service developer platform that allows engineers to go from idea → production in minutes (not weeks).
You will:
Build reusable Terraform modules, CI/CD components, and platform abstractions
Design systems that simplify complexity and improve developer experience
Shape the future of the platform: Kubernetes, observability, and architecture decisions
Partner with engineering teams to support the move away from a monolith
Define best practices for reliability, monitoring, and “you build it, you run it” culture
Mentor teammates and influence engineering standards
Requirements:
Experience building internal platforms / developer tooling
Strong Kubernetes (EKS) knowledge — networking, RBAC, scaling
Solid Terraform skills (modular, reusable design)
CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, DroneCI, etc.)
Hands-on with AWS: EKS, IAM, VPC, RDS
Deep understanding of observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
Strong grasp of security, networking, and system design at scale
Experience running production systems + incident response
A mindset focused on developer experience and usability
Why You’ll Love This Role
Build a platform that directly impacts how engineers work every day
Work in a product-driven, profitable company with steady growth
Startup agility + enterprise-level scale
Collaborate with an international team and leadership directly
High ownership, real impact, and room to shape long-term architecture
Who This Is Perfect For
Platform Engineers, SREs, DevOps Engineers who enjoy building systems for other engineers
Engineers who care deeply about developer experience, not just infrastructure
Problem solvers who like shaping systems in ambiguous, high-impact environments
