The Senior System Engineer role is based in Jakarta and plays a key part in managing enterprise-scale IT systems, networks, servers, and infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional with strong experience in system and network engineering, data centre technologies, and technical improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimise enterprise-level IT systems, networks, and servers
Handle configuration and troubleshooting for network appliances, including Fortigate, Cisco, and Aruba
Oversee virtualisation environments, including Nutanix, VMware, and Hyper-V
Maintain Windows Server ecosystem, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, as well as Linux environments
Design and implement reliable backup and recovery solutions, such as Veeam and Acronis
Drive system improvements, documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system engineering, and network engineering
Strong hands-on skills in networking and data centre technologies
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and enterprise environments
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and collaborate across teams
Passionate about learning and adapting to new technologies
