The Tax Manager role plays a key part in managing tax compliance, tax strategy, reporting, and advisory matters within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a tax professional with strong knowledge of local tax regulations, experience handling audits and disputes, and the ability to support business operations through sound tax advice.
Responsibilities
Manage all tax compliance, including Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax, and Withholding Tax, ensuring timely and accurate filings
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise costs and support operations
Lead tax audits and disputes, including communication with tax authorities and advisors
Provide tax advisory on supply chain, imports and exports, and capital investments
Ensure accurate tax accounting, provisioning, and financial reporting
Identify tax risks and strengthen internal controls and compliance processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field
Relevant certification such as CPA, ACCA, or Brevet is preferred
7–10 years of tax experience, ideally within manufacturing or a similar industry
Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance practices
Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
