The Training Center Assistant Manager - Machinery Technical Trainer role, based in Depok, leads training centre operations, curriculum development, certification programmes, and technical capability-building initiatives. The position combines training strategy and programme management with team leadership, supporting the development of employees, dealers, trainers, and service networks.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage the training centre strategy, budget, KPI achievement, and overall operations in alignment with business objectives
Lead, coach, and develop trainers and staff while maintaining training quality, capability, and resource readiness
Design and implement training curricula, competency frameworks, certification programmes, skills assessments, and trainer development for employees and dealers
Organise and oversee technical, product, operational, and soft skills training programmes, technical contests, service awards, and certification events
Collaborate with headquarters, dealers, and service networks to localise training materials, monitor competency and compliance, and drive continuous capability improvement
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in a training centre, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within the construction machinery, agricultural machinery, automotive, or a similar industry
Strong knowledge of training curriculum development, instructional design, and certification programme management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Fluency in English
Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills
Japanese language proficiency will be an advantage
