EV Business Development
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize potential business opportunities in the EV market, including partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, suppliers, government agencies, and industry associations.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Develop and execute business development strategies and action plans to meet revenue and market share targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, regulations, and policies related to electric vehicles.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and build a strong professional network.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to potential partners and clients.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing regular updates to the management team.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record in business development, preferably in the electric vehicle industry or a related sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the electric vehicle market, including industry trends, players, and technological advancements.
- Strong network of contacts in the automotive industry, including OEMs, suppliers, and government agencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret market data to drive informed business decisions.
