Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all import and export customs processes
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade compliance, and import/export laws
- Prepare, review, and validate customs documentation (Import Declaration, Export Declaration, COO, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, HS Code, etc.)
- Ensure accurate HS Code classification and customs valuation
- Coordinate customs clearance activities with freight forwarders, customs brokers (PPJK), and Customs authorities
- Handle customs inspections, disputes, and customs audits
- Manage and monitor customs facilities and incentives (Bonded Zone, KITE, Free Trade Agreement, etc.)
- Identify customs risks and develop risk mitigation plans
- Control customs-related costs, duties, taxes, and penalties
- Prepare and submit customs compliance and performance reports
- Lead, train, and develop the customs and export–import team
- Act as the main liaison between the company and Customs Authorities
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Accounting, Law, or related fields
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in customs, import–export, or trade compliance
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international trade
- Customs-related certifications are an advantage (Customs Broker / Trade Compliance)
- Proven experience in HS Code classification
- Familiar with customs systems such as CEISA / INSW
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
