Job Description:
Lead the strategic planning and scheduling for all development projects within the industrial estate, ensuring alignment with masterplan and business objectives.
Develop and implement detailed engineering roadmaps, technical design standards, and sustainable engineering solutions for estate development.
Oversee the review and approval of all technical drawings, designs, and engineering specifications to ensure compliance with quality, sustainability, and operational standards.
Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables; proactively manage risks and coordinate cross-functional teams to address technical challenges.
Oversee the permitting process and ensure all engineering and development activities comply with the regulations and industry standards.
Develop, implement, and enforce the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and programs to maintain the highest standards of site safety and regulatory compliance.
Conduct HSE audits, risk assessments, and safety training to build a strong safety culture across all project sites.
Prepare and present planning and engineering reports, as well as HSE compliance updates to the management.
Engage with external consultants, design teams, regulatory bodies, and local authorities to secure necessary approvals and maintain compliance.
Lead, mentor, and develop planning, engineering, and HSE teams, promoting professional growth and operational excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum 15 years’ experience in engineering planning, design management, and HSE oversight, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial or GM role.
Proven track record in planning and delivering large-scale industrial estate or infrastructure developments (500 Ha or more).
Solid understanding of master planning, engineering design principles, and sustainable development standards.
Strong knowledge of local permitting processes, regulations standards, and environmental policies.
Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project, etc.), design software (AutoCAD, etc.), and HSE monitoring systems.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel to project sites and regulatory meetings as required.
