Maintenance Supervisor

Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize uptime.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs, either through in-house resources or external vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance logs, repair history, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among maintenance staff.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment upgrades.
- Monitor and control maintenance costs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Key Requirements
- Min Diploma degree from Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
- Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or a similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is desirable.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
