Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years experience at FMCG company as assistant manager especially in food industry
- Experience in dealing with many variant items of raw materials and able to develop alternative raw material source as well as finished goods
- Knowledgeable in export-import activity and document
- Good negotiation skill
- Good at time management
- Capable in communicating in English
- Willing to work in Bekasi-Cikarang area
Job description:
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute purchasing strategies for food products, ingredients, and packaging materials, ensuring continuity of supply and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and prices, monitor supplier performance, and maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Ensure that food products and ingredients meet quality standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements. Work closely with quality control teams to ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations.
- Develop inventory control policies and procedures to ensure that the right products are available at the right time, while minimizing waste and maintaining product freshness.
- Collaborate with logistics and distribution teams to optimize delivery schedules, reduce lead times, and improve transportation efficiency.
- Analyze costs of food products and ingredients, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and negotiate favorable pricing with suppliers.
- Collect and analyze data on food purchasing and inventory management, prepare reports and presentations for management, and identify areas for improvement.
- Build and manage a high-performing purchasing team, providing training, coaching, and mentoring to improve team capabilities and drive results.
