Our Client, a Japanese manufacturing company is currently looking for Export Import Manager with detail as per following:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all export and import activities to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
Develop and implement effective EXIM strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
Coordinate with shipping companies, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Prepare and review export-import documentation, including shipping documents, customs declarations, and regulatory filings.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations, including customs regulations, tariffs, and duties.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Handle any issues related to customs clearance and logistics delays.
Maintain and update records of all EXIM transactions and activities.
Provide training and guidance to team members on EXIM processes and compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in export-import operations, preferably in the steel manufacturing industry.
PPJK Certificate (Customs Brokerage License) is mandatory.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proven track record of managing and optimizing EXIM operations.
Proficiency in using EXIM management software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and lead a team.
