Our Client, a Japanese manufacturing company is currently looking for Export Import Manager with detail as per following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all export and import activities to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Develop and implement effective EXIM strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with shipping companies, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Prepare and review export-import documentation, including shipping documents, customs declarations, and regulatory filings.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations, including customs regulations, tariffs, and duties.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle any issues related to customs clearance and logistics delays.
- Maintain and update records of all EXIM transactions and activities.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on EXIM processes and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in export-import operations, preferably in the steel manufacturing industry.
- PPJK Certificate (Customs Brokerage License) is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing EXIM operations.
- Proficiency in using EXIM management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
