Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Maintain proper documentation and support for all accounting transactions
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax).
Developing and implementing new strategies to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of tax returns.
Prepare required documentation and support for tax audits.
Representing the organization in audits and other tax related matters.
Developing and maintaining relationships with external tax authorities and other stakeholders.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certification such as Brevet A/B is a plus point).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and tax roles within logistic companies, freight forwarding companies is preferred.
Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and matters (tax report, tax return, tax court, etc.).
Proficient in accounting software (MyOb) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
