Our client is an American Multinational specialty chemical manufacturing company of specialty polymers, process catalysts, organometallics and tin products for several industries. They are currently looking for an Assistant Manager Maintenance to be stationed at their plant in Kawasan Industri Suryacipta Karawang

 

Job Responsibilities

•        Lead and oversee maintenance activities for plant equipment with a strong focus on electrical and instrumentation systems.

•        Ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production equipment including glass lined reactors (GLR) and related process machinery.

•        Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

•        Manage installation, troubleshooting, and optimization of DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and automation systems.

•        Drive the effective use of SAP for maintenance planning, scheduling, and reporting.

•        Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime and enhance plant performance.

•        Supervise and guide maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.

•        Manage vendor relationships and contractors for equipment servicing and spare parts.

•        Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and reduce costs.

 

Job Requirements

•        Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

•        Experienced in maintenance within chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, agrochemical, paints, coatings, or related process industries.

•        Proven expertise in glass lined reactors (GLR) maintenance and operations.

•        Hands-on experience in SAP for maintenance management.

•        Strong technical knowledge of DCS, instrumentation, and electrical systems.

•        Track record of leading maintenance teams and projects in a manufacturing environment.

•        Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.

•        Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices in chemical/process industries.
