Requirements:
- Proficient in both Japanese (MUST hold JLPT N1/N2) and English is a MUST.
- Bachelor's degree in any major.
- Experience in product development, sales support, or quality control roles is preferred.
- Willing to travel in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and sometimes possibility to travel to Malaysia and Vietnam for attending exhibitions or general meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Merchandisers from Japan and attend furniture exhibitions.
- Provide support in product development, including conducting research and proposing furniture products parent company in Japan.
- Perform sample checking, trial order inspection, and verify purchase order sheets from parent company in Japan.
- Follow up on sales requests, including price negotiation, and act as an intermediary between parent company in Japan and furniture suppliers in Indonesia.
- Manage other PBD & R&D related tasks, including translating documents and conducting inspections at supplier’s factories.
- Responsible for entering QC data accurately, handling quality claims and related documents, and attending QC inspections from parent company in Japan.
