Our Japanese heavy machinery company client is seeking a skilled Jig and Tool Engineer Assistant Manager to join their team. Please see the details below:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 
- At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer Assistant Manager. 
- Knowledge of manufacturing technology for automotive parts (work experience is an advantage). 
- Advanced understanding of cutting, machining, and sheet metal processes, both manual and CNC, as well as machining standards (e.g., ISO standards on general machining and tolerances). 
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies (3D printing). 
- Understanding of material properties (steel). 
- Proficient in written and spoken English. 
Responsibilites:
- Analyze jigs and tools utilized in the production department.
- Generate reports on analysis findings for management review.
- Assess which tools need replacement and which can continue to be used.
- Standardize machine tools and consumables, including jigs and fixtures.
