We are looking for a General Manager Operations for our client, a leading multinational company in the tobacco sector.
The role will be responsible for leading the entire plant & manufacturing operations, covering production, people, compliance, and overall results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Economics.
- 5–10 years’ proven experience leading large-scale manufacturing operations, ideally in tobacco, or in branded consumer goods/food industries.
- Strong leadership track record managing 1,000+ employees, with solid experience coordinating across multiple departments.
- Certified in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and industry regulations, with established networks with regulators and local communities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all plant & manufacturing operations.
- Deliver strong performance in cost efficiency, productivity, quality, waste reduction, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
- Lead, coach, and develop your team and the wider organization to achieve excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to raise standards in quality, cost, people, and compliance.
